Strategic Enablers

Financial Sustainability

The university aims to achieve financial sustainability through a range of strategic measures. This includes increasing self-generated revenue from core activities such as education, training, research, and consulting, as well as improving spending efficiency by implementing a package of initiatives dedicated to this purpose. We will also increase external funding for research and student grants. To achieve these objectives, we will reorganize, monitor, and implement the budget according to the key pillars of achieving the required financial sustainability.

Enhancing Governance

Enhancing governance in the university aims to ensure the dominance of systems and regulations by completing the project of preparing detailed policies and procedures that define the roles and responsibilities of the university's management, vice presidencies, deans, and administrations. We will also launch university-wide initiatives to enhance the application of governance principles such as integrity, transparency, participation, and accountability. In addition, the university will enhance effective oversight to ensure compliance with its systems, regulations, and procedures, while periodically evaluating their effectiveness. To further enhance governance, we will engage external expertise in specialized councils and committees, contributing to achieving the highest governance standards within the university.

Digital Transformation and Data-Driven Operations

The university's digital transformation aims to enhance data-driven operations by evaluating the current digital infrastructure and prioritizing improvements. This includes developing a plan to upgrade and update information technology in line with the university's long-term goals. We will also complete the project of automating services and operational processes, which will contribute to improving efficiency. Additionally, we will design a central electronic repository for all the university's data and develop the work of the institutional research administration to support decision-making.

Administrative Development and Alignment of the Organizational Structure with Strategic Needs

Administrative development in the university aims to align the organizational structure with strategic needs by updating the organizational structure to align with future aspirations and achieve strategic objectives. We will also develop performance evaluation policies and tools for the university's staff to ensure effective results. Additionally, we will support professional development plans so that the university's staff can keep up with rapid developments, contributing to achieving the desired strategic objectives. To enhance coordination and collaboration between administrations, we will form university-wide task forces, which will boost the effectiveness of teamwork and contribute to achieving goals more efficiently.
