Brief Biography
Assistant Professor at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences since 2021. He earned a Ph.D. in Comparative Systems from the University of Denver, United States, in 2007. His doctoral dissertation was titled Leadership Role in Political Stability: Jordan and Iraq in the 1980s and 1990s.
Dr. Al-Khaldi previously served as an Assistant Professor at King Saud University (2011–2021) and Yarmouk University in Jordan (2009–2011). He also worked as a part-time lecturer at Mu'tah University from 1992 to 2009. At Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, he served as Head of the Department of Security Administration and subsequently as Head of the Department of Police Sciences (2022–2024). He also supervised several Higher Diploma and Master's programs in National Security, Strategic Studies, and Counterterrorism.
He has published a number of peer-reviewed research papers in academic journals, including a critical study on nuclear deterrence theory in the twenty-first century and a study examining the conditions for the success of international organizations and the causes of their failure. He also translated the book World Politics: Trends and Transformations, published by King Saud University Press.
His research interests focus on strategic studies, great power relations, nuclear armament, regional studies, and successful models of regional integration, particularly those of North America and Europe
