Dr. Tarek Mohammed Suleiman has more than 20 years of experience in university teaching and academic work. He currently serves as Vice Dean of the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology, while also serving as a Consultant to the Institutional Research Administration and an Associate Professor in the Department of National Security.

He earned a Ph.D. in Urban Planning from Alzaiem Alazhari University. Throughout his academic career, he has contributed to the development of numerous academic programs and quality assurance initiatives. He currently chairs the College Quality Committee and serves as a member of the University's Admission and Registration Council. Previously, he served as Head of the Research and Scientific Meetings Department at the Center for Ethics of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World.

His contributions extend to the professional and applied fields. He is an accredited reviewer for the Education and Training Evaluation Commission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a certified Training of Trainers (ToT) instructor accredited by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

Dr. Suleiman has an outstanding scholarly record that includes peer-reviewed books and research publications in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He has supervised and examined more than 20 master's and doctoral theses and dissertations and has presented research papers at more than 15 scientific conferences across several Arab and Islamic countries. In recognition of his academic excellence, he received the Teaching Excellence Award at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in 2023 and 2025 and has been honored by distinguished institutions both within and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.​​
