First: The Center stands out for possessing state-of-the-art devices and training technologies in the field of traffic management, among the most important of which are:

Law Enforcement Simulators

The Center distinguishes itself in the MENA region by owning Law Enforcement Simulators. These simulators cater to the training requirements of traffic officers and security patrols across various scenarios encountered during their duties. They simulate multiple scenarios and practical exercises, guiding trainees from the receipt of a report to achieving predetermined objectives, considering both traffic and security situations. Additionally, they replicate pursuit mechanisms under diverse environmental conditions and methods of arresting violators in accordance with regulatory standards for apprehension and inspection.

Collective exercises can also be facilitated through wireless devices and interconnection, overseen by the training leader to provide guidance during sessions.

FARO Focus 3D X Laser Scanner

This technology is utilized for gathering and analyzing evidence at accident scenes through remote scanning using laser technology, generating three-dimensional models stored as digital cloud with comprehensive details of the accident site. These can be accessed upon request for presentation to investigating authorities as needed.

The 3D scanning technology facilitates direct body scanning without physical contact, leveraging laser technologies integrated into the device. It boasts the following features:

  • Accuracy of data.
  • A large amount of data for the scanned area.
  • Rapid data acquisition.
  • Collection of scanned body data without physical contact, a crucial feature for evidence collection at traffic accident sites.

PC-CRASH Software

It is a simulation software utilized for reconstructing and analyzing vehicle accidents, along with other accidents. It generates reports for investigative bodies, outlining the true causes of traffic accidents and accurately assessing the degrees of liability/conviction for the involved parties. It processes inputs using mathematical equations, vehicle mechanics, and collision theories.

PC-CRASH software encompasses a broad array of features, such as:

  • Collision simulation in both 2D and 3D formats.
  • Vehicle motion analysis.
  • Human injury analysis.
  • Generating detailed reports and graphs.

Collection, Management, and Analysis of Traffic Accident Data using GPS and GIS:

  • Gathering data and evidence related to traffic accidents utilizing the Global Positioning System (GPS).
  • Employing the Geographic Information System (GIS) to store and administer information pertaining to traffic accidents.

Second: Availability of global competencies and experiences within the Center's personnel

Third: Attracting a panel of experts in the field of road traffic safety

Targeted Capabilities in Road Traffic Safety:

  • Developing the skills of traffic accident investigators.
  • Identifying resources and methods for collecting traffic data and presenting it through tables and graphs.
  • Staying updated on the latest vehicle technologies aimed at bolstering traffic safety.
  • Recognizing potential traffic hazards during driving and strategies for mitigating them.
  • Identifying black spots, analyzing the reasons behind their occurrence, and proposing measures to prevent their recurrence.
  • Effectively managing traffic accidents.
  • Formulating strategies and action plans geared towards realizing the objectives of the safe systems approach to enhance road traffic safety.
  • Enhancing community engagement through text messages and traffic awareness campaigns targeting road users.
