Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) is keen to continuously develop and modernize its academic programs. It seeks to offer pioneering post-graduate programs in the security fields. NAUSS has made efforts, during the previous period and after approving its strategic plan 2019-2023, to develop the master’s and higher diploma programs. This development covers the programs’ contents and study periods and encompasses specialties that are highly relevant to security sciences. Qualitative initiatives and effective partnerships with international universities have been made for achieving this development.
NAUSS’s Vice Presidency for Training has been established after launching NAUSS’s strategic plan (2019-2023). It is considered an extension of the college of training that has been established at the University. Moreover, it includes an accumulated expertise in all fields of security in its comprehensive sense. NAUSS has offered the first training program more than thirty years ago. Subsequently, more than one thousand and seven hundred training activities have been implemented in more than forty countries worldwide. The number of beneficiaries of such activities have exceeded seventy-five thousand trainees representing all security sectors in the Arab countries.
NAUSS is an Arab organization and the scientific body of the Arab Interior Ministers Council. It serves the local, regional, and international communities. NAUSS sets objectives and develops various programs for obtaining membership in the minister councils, university federations, and international organizations
As an extension to the vision and goals of the university regarding the importance of joint Arab action, and to strengthen the relationship with organizations, universities, various Arab councils and security institutions, and to ensure coordination with the General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers Council and the divisions of communication with the Arab Ministries of Interior, the Arab Councils and Relations Department was established in the General Administration of External Relations in 2019 in accordance with the university strategy ( 2019 - 2023 ).
